KJ the Brown Tabby Cat

KJ is missing an arm, which was the result of an injury when he was a kitten. He was discovered on a road with a badly injured leg when he was about 6 weeks old, and the injury was so severe that it needed an amputation. He adjusted very well to being a tripod, and has a very strong personality per his owner!

This unique kitty is Chiyo (@chiyopurrs )! She is a brown tabby and white cat with a very unique piebald marking pattern. I found her account a few months ago and fell in love with her unique style. Then I had the honor of creating her portrait in my signature vibrant colorful style!

Mala the Cat
This is Mala! This was my half of an art exchange with the wonderfully talented @visionaryartbyvajra They also painted an amazing portrait of my cat Chloe. This portrait was painted with acrylics on an 11" x 14" canvas, and was finished sometime in early March. The reference photo had a cool skull in it, and they wanted it included in the portrait, and I think that was a great choice! I used fluorescent paints, which really don't scan very accurately, but in the real life painting the eye sockets and nose of the skull kind of glow! And it is so cool!

In this gallery are just my cat paintings created with vibrant colors. These portraits are expressive, energetic, and colorful, using bright rainbow colors. I use intense colors and bold brush strokes to create these unique portraits of these beloved pets. I have painted all sorts of cat breeds and types, including tabbies, Maine Coons, Siamese, Tuxedo cats, tortoiseshells, longhaired and shorthaired. Cats are very expressive and are a great pleasure to paint! Their large eyes and facial markings make each cat unique. Since I put the most detail in the eyes, I really enjoy painting cat portraits!
I have been creating my unique pet portraits since 2017. In that time, I have painted dozens of colorful paintings for customers all throughout the United States. I work from the customer’s photographs to product a unique work of art. I am very flexible and will work with you to select the perfect photo, and help you select your style, background, and composition. I have created my paintings in three main styles: natural colors, vibrant colors, and psychedelic rainbow colors, mostly in a semi-impressionistic style. Each style is suited to a different taste, but all will feature high levels of detail and accuracy to your pet. In addition to cats, I create paintings of all kinds of pets, including dogs, reptiles, birds, fish, rodents, farm animals, and even wildlife. I can bring your furry, feathered, or scaly friend to life on canvas for you to treasure for years to come. I can even use features from different photos to create a unique work of art. I call this technique compositioning, and it is essential in order to interpret less than ideal photos as portraits. I can also work with almost any photo of any quality. Since my style is more on the impressionistic side, I can use my artistic license to create the painting with high accuracy.
