Cheetah running

Prismacolors on black paper. 12" x 18"

I wanted to do larger compositions on black, so I got the largest pad of black paper I could find. This is the first picture I drew using this paper. Based on an image I have of a cheetah running. I was going to add a background to complete the composition, but I like the way the cheetah really stands out against the stark black background. I may go back and add a little bit of ground so it doesn't look like she is flying through the air.
